Doñana Natural Space is one of the most important protected areas in Europa, making possession a number of international awards such as “World Heritage” or “Biosphere Reserve”.
The Doñana Region is made up of fourteen municipalities, belonging to the provinces of Huelva, Seville and Cadiz.
It has an area of 120000 ha. roughly divided between Marsh ecosystems, Preserve, Dunes and Vera and which has a large number of animal and plant species.
